Fun fact about religion and homosexuality:
I’ve been on the streets canvassing for gay rights for about a month now. Here’s what I’ve noticed about this subject and women who openly display their religion or culture:
A woman in a headscarf is more likely to stop, listen sympathetically, and either donate or say they would like to donate than women with no overt displays.

That canvassing for the Human Rights Campaign will be the most rewarding, life-affirming job I have had so far, and may ever have. People (at least college students in Maryland) give me hope for our future.

Ultraprison: i had a moderately productive day →
i applied for several freelance gigs. then i took the dog to the vet to get her yearly shots. Leela weighs 14 pounds now. She’s a small dog, but she’s not a two-pound Yorkie - she’s a significantly-sized animal. Next to most chihuahuas she looks like a tank.
We walked to Rite Aid, which is next…
